What's the best phone price/performance wise to buy currently?

Well, considering just price and performance, I'd say the Nokia 106 is a great candidate.

For less than 25 USD you have a phone with a battery that lasts 4-7 days depending on your use.

To detemine best performance for price, depends on what you want to use it for.
