Hi, just installed this nice app. Thanks for the work!!!

I just have some questions.

Why can I browse qype just by categories an not with the searchfield?

What are the buttons for i see at the right side if I select a place?
The @-button opens the email app and fills a new email so I can email this place to somebody. The phone button initiates a call to this location (available if there is a Phone number in the lokation details) Both really great functionalyties!!!
The internet button might be to visit the location's website, I guess? But then It shoult disappear if there's no website available, like the phone button does.
The button with the qype logo doesn't do anything too. What is it for?

Will their be a possibility to rate qype places in future releases? I guess a login would be requiered to do so?

Anyway, thanks for your work! I really like the app!

PS: haven't tried yahoo local search yet.

Yahoo local search just gives me "no results"
But I don't mind. I'm happy with qype ;-)

i didn't implement search for qype.
Maybe in the next releases.....

The Internet button should open a Google map.
The Qype button should open the place page on Qype.com.

It seems to not work on your device.
Does the application launch the browser or nothing happens ?
If yes, what is the URL ?
Do You have problem with Qype, Yahoo or both ?

To have more error messages, you can launch Libellule in xterm :
libelluleapp
Errors will appear in xterm.

I will take a look to rate Qype places...

Yahoo local search provides results only for the USA.
Checking the current location and greys out yahoo could be a future improvement...

As you can see here :
http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...llule/0.0.1-3/
The description should be better.
But my english is not the best...
Could someone help me to improve this bad description ?

Thanks.

David.

Nothing happens in both cases.
Maybe because i installed firefox and browser switchboard? (maemo browser is still my default browser)

here is the code from x term. I'm sorry but I'm not able to sort out what is important for you and what not because I'm not familiar with stuff like that.

While playing arround I realized that the qupe and the browser buttons work propperly if the internet browser is launched before pressing them in Libellule.
So it seems that it is not a problem with the links. It just fails to open the browser.

Yahoo seems to not provide API for germany. (only web site)

I use dbus to open the browser.
You can try this command line in xterm:
dbus-send --system --type=method_call --dest="com.nokia.osso_browser" --print-reply /com/nokia/osso_browser/request com.nokia.osso_browser.load_url string:"google.com"

I think it an issue with Browser Switchboard
With is the default browser ?
In the BS site, I read :
"...While MicroB is open, it will receive all links from other applications; closing MicroB will restore your chosen default browser."

Your command opens the browser with google.com

But it still didn't have any effect on libellule.

Anyway, uninstalling switchboard solved the problem. Now I can open qype and googlemaps with it. Thanks a lot!!!

aw bugger, you pipped me to it. I was thinking about doing exactly the same sort of app. I've installed this to test so far so good apart from the yahoo search, it doesn't return me any results.
