Ok then maybe try to delete the folder and mkdir the akonadi folder then symlink?

Of course akonadictl stop first...

Both folders in /home/user and /home/user/.local/share where inexistant before the ln -s command, so not sure if deleting it again and restarting the procedure will solve the issue. :'(

I'm sorry to bother you Thedead1440, you can either kill me or kill yourself if you want some relief.

Haha its totally fine

What I meant was delete the folders but first ensure that akonadictl stop is done then reboot, open mail app, set-up an account then again akonadictl stop and do the steps in that wiki for cp -R and ln -s

Ah since you have inception you must be having aegisctl too right?

So before doing the installation, make aegis relaxed (below are options of aegisctl):

Code:
Disable source origin check aegisctl -s
Allow loading any kernel module aegisctl -k
  Enable relaxed mode aegisctl +r
Switch to permissive mode aegisctl --really @es
Disable Aegis validation aegisctl --really -esdakx
  Reset to defaults aegisctl +esdrtxk,-az
I personally haven't used aegisctl in a long time so I'm slightly unsure but I think you can start with aegisctl -s or switch to permissive mode...
For anyone else facing this error:

I couldn't use

Code:
apt-get -f install
because aegis was rejecting the required package. So I went to /var/cache/apt/archives where the needed deb file is and incepted it via

Code:
/usr/sbin/incept libyajl1_1.0.8-1_armel.deb
which did the trick for me.

After that I could successfully run

Code:
apt-get install kdepim-mobile
after ariadne sh and aegisctl -s and +r

Finally solved the issue, thanks for all.

Kleopatra returns an error at launch, permissions something, but I don't even know what this application is for. Too bad contacts.vcf have to be imported one by one in the Contacts application, a merge of all .vcf will not be correctly read (although it will in Harmattan Contacts app).

is this package still available? I tried the install instructions on the wiki with no luck.

Would be cool do port this Email Client to Jolla/SailfishOS, but KDE Mobile development seems pretty inactive at present (maybe due to the merge of KDE mobile into the official KDE release)?
Is anyone interested?
