Need any help on how to remove a bad installation that resulted to a red icon with an exclamation point.

Do you know the package name if so that makes it easier.

Devel-su
rootme
apt-get autoremove (package name)

It will get rid of it.

What did you install exactly?

What did you install exactly?
It was actually a bad update from FM RADIO RDS. The download completed but installation failed. Then the icon changed to that. Do you know the name of the package??

dpkg --list

Look through that list.

apt-get update
reboot

It did the trick.

Had same issue with RDS radio.

Now i get max number of downloads reached. This is a bit rich as it is not my fault the update fails. Have raised a complaint with Nokia Store.

in the meantime what is the code to download the package rather than just get the update?

I get this everytime I update QNeptunea. In fact, not only does it have a bad install, it corrupts many other apps, both pre-installed and self installed :/ Quite annoying
