Other than those i'm rather happy.

I'm not sure what functionality you are missing, but I use this site for "real-time" streaming quotes via browser (and desktop shortcut):

http://widgets.freestockcharts.com/W...lueStyle&w=160

This site has different "widgets" which you are allowed to embed on your website. If you need to edit the stock list, just edit the URL:

http://widgets.freestockcharts.com

I also use:

http://finance.yahoo.com

...since the Flash based interactive charts work with the 900.

Here is an open idea for my dream app: I have others but they are incubating.

I would love to see a note taking app like Conboy integration - where notes taken would provide bookmarks to navigate the recording. allowing the user to listen at or slightly before the point when you made the written note.

In short I would like a livescribe app. http://www.livescribe.com/smartpen for the n900.

If is for asking, i would go to classic cheats on the "ask a wish" tales. Why asking for a single app when you can ask for an app that gives you a lot of other apps? A (wine like?) Android compatibility layer that would enable to run Android apps along with maemo ones (even giving them access to gps/accel/etc) would qualify as dream app (and regarding the kind of dream, probably would be a nightmare to be coded),

Yeah that's right.

You could probably get it to open straight from the browser if you edit the default apps config file and use a custom shellscript to run OO.org...

The option to decide which numbers can reach me directly, which one will be blocked or routed to an internal (!!) answering machine is fantastic. There is also the option to record calls from specific numbers automatically (in and out). It works with black/white lists, different profiles which can by changed by daytime or location...

Still missing such a powerfull app on my N900

I fully agree! This is an awsome app and really miss it. If anyone has not used it then they don't know what they are missing. Wish I knew how to write apps as I would definitly write somthing like this for Maemo.

Please... would someone look into this that has the knowhow??

IVCM (Interactive Voice Call Master) also from Mobisophy slightly better than Phone Pilot.

I think ProfileX is good but not prefect. no Timed Profile but it support more profiles.

Silencer – timed profile changer

Something to connect to and stream my EyeTv recordings.
That's the 'dream' one.

But these would be nice too:
A better file manager with search.
A spreadsheet program--and I only need basic functions.
A program to take photos with the front camera.
And not to criticize the current FM radio player, but I wish it did not hiccup the playing audio every time something else happens on the N900 (like the orientation changes or a text/IM/email notification comes in).
