Is there a app that has a "Canola Like" interface for a desktop computer?

Quite a number of media centers have similar interface.

BlackAx :it depends on the platform you are
if you are on Macs: you have frontrow, or mediastage
in linux: you have elisa, freevo and some others
in windows: windows media center and others.

The "rich" UI concept (where you have simplified widgets instead of regular windowed based toolkits are common on desktops as well!

Don't forget Canola also runs on the desktop.

ok I tryed both freevo and elsa and both work fine on my desktop but dont work on the system i want it on. @Baloo I would love to use canola but i cant get it to search my system for media
