My N810 decided it wanted to go on the fritz so I wiped the thing clean using the built in reset command from the control panel. The only problem is it won't wipe it completely. How do I know this? Simple I installed themes and sounds from the back up repository and they are still on my device. Also my device memory was filled before I wiped it and still is full. I don't use linux, I'm not going to use linux also I have no plans on doing this in the future. I would like however if one of you would please send me the tablet update wizard. Wiping the device does not clear what's on the internal and external MMC. It only wipes the OS itself. It won't be different when flashing from Linux.

Then why does the warning dialog say and I quote "All Settings and device content will be deleted. Content of the internal memory will also be deleted. all applications will be closed and the device will restart itself." if it wont delete the built in 2GB of flash memory.

Good question. I suppose the internal MMC doesn't count as internal memory, as its actually a external MMC but built-in, while the N800 had it replaceable and both share the same OS.

It doesn't metter anyway since I found what I needed after half a day f searching for the program. I guess I was a little more than frustrated. I'm just surprised more websites don't host the file rather than try to send you to nokia to get it. Which they have removed all links to the file. Which is more than frustrating a lot more. I loved the first 770 I wned even if it was slower than crap. Then I appriciated my n800 even more. The n810 oh dear lord do I love it. even though it's the same thing only no fm tuner which is a shame really.

Couldn't have found more inappropriate $TITLE for your problem, though? It isn't related to actual content even on slightest bit (at least, not in what is important, as most people don't give a nut about what you're using or not).
