Except profiles and their settings if one performs apt-get upgrade with cssu-devel enabled

As it is impossible to install older packages without reflashing, is there any method to configure the profiles e.g. by editing configuration files manually etc...
Nokia Tune as a ringing tone is really... unfamiliar...

Of course there is a way to install older packages:

apt-get install $PACKAGE=$VERSION

Hmm, when I disable extras-devel and run for example:
apt-get install --reinstall libprofile0
It says:
Reinstallation of libprofile0 is not possible, it cannot be downloaded.

you miss the version to be installed, please re-read my previous post

EDIT:

And the thread here is about cssu-devel , not extras-devel

Sorry, typo, of course cssu-devel...
But thanks, sorted it out. "apt-cache policy" was my friend

But was the main problem that with apt-get upgrade the package profileclient did not get installed?

@peterleinchen - thanks a lot for reporting that.
Works as expected (stock behaviour, opening a x-term and then desired script/app in second x-term).

Thank you for contributing and solving!

New version (1.2.49) of libpng12-0 is in the repo, it fixes bug #12646 (several CVEs).

Don't no if it is just an incident, but this new version caused issues for me.
First I could not start OMP (coredumps). Then I decided to reboot, but hildon-desktop continued to loop in crashes after reboot.
Reverting to an older version of libpng12-0 fixed that.

Can you a little bit elaborate what do you have? cssu-testing (what version, thumb vs default, kernel, ...).
I tested reboot and some sw using png and I had no issue.

Now I install and test OMP and you're right. I have to test it.
However I have no problem with h-d.
