Sometimes, i don't have the pendrive with me... so i need to use the massive n900 storage....

But FAT32 only accept 4gb maximum filesize.... so sometimes i need to breack the files in two parts or more....

Is there any way to format the external MicroSD or internal memory to exFAT or NTFS? or it's uncompatible?

Some microSD supports exFAT, but the N900??

You could easily dol that via sfdsk but if you don't like it the easy way is to plug the n900 to a linux box in mass storage mode then format as fat32 but be warned if you do that then mass storag mode will not work with most windows computers and you might break some kind of functionality on the phone

I think you can format the SD card as NTFS, and install the NTFS kernel support i guess.

but i have never tried this.
