Hello,
Although I gave up on Nokia a while back ago, I still miss Maemo and have a need for it again as I want to get back to Linux. Unfortunately I dropped my unit and now the screen will not power on.

The device does power on and I can hear the Nokia chime as well as the display touchscreen click sounds. Does this mean only the display needs replacing?

If so, can anyone suggest a US retailer?

Thanks!

If you can see the screen, but no illumination, its most likely the digitizer. If the screen's not showing up at all, its more likely the LCD or maybe just the connector to the LCD.

Siansmobile.co.uk is a good retailer, but from the UK. They send their parts to the US.

Maybe it is just a loose connection. Why not try taking it apart and putting it back together before ordering a replacement screen.
