Try this:

Exposure: 1s
Gain: ISO 100
Focus: >5m
WB: 5000
Brust: Single

Disstatisfied? Create a code using FCam API. You can simply modify the "example1" project in the FCam API source code package. Make a single shot, change the exposure time (in microsecond), make sure the gain was 1.0f (ISO 100), compile, run.

Or just extract and run my 2.5s (max) exposure time code below in /home/user/...

And one more off-topic ...

To enable IPP Element (Felipe Contreras says this will produce better images but I don't feel any improvement)

Code:
[imagepp]
#element=ipp
to

Code:
[imagepp]
element=ipp

This does nothing. DSPjpeg encoder is hard coded to 85%. If you want 100% you need to either:

1. Use the 720p recording/playing stuff.
2. Switch to using the software encoder.

On 720p enabled libgstdsp the hard coded value has been increased to 100%.

A while ago I tried to use libgstdsp.so.stock ,but when I edit gdigicam-camerabin.conf to:

useconfigfile=true
[imageenc]
element=dspjpegenc
quality=95

camera goes into endless image processing..I have to reboot.

I used this tutorial:

Does anyone have experience with this mod? Thanks

Edit___________________________

Finally managed to make it work...quality 96,9
