i was curious about this Soft poweroff entry in the powerkeymenu

so i uncommented

Code:
<menuitem priority="10" name="Soft poweroff">
  <return>7</return>
  <po>osso-powerup-shutdown</po>
 </menuitem>
in etc/systemui/systemui.xml

but what is this new button doing?

i tried, is like a sort of hybernate/offline mode?

main question is...how to go back to normal?

when the soft poweroff is active, and the phone is locked, the led blinks in orange

i can open the qwerty, but is still in offline mode, pressing the power button doesn't do anything and if i longpress the power botton it will turn off the phone...

suggestions?

Standby mode or what ? It feels like it is not properly suspended as it happens with a majority of linux laptops. It will be useful to have a standby and hibernate buttom .

im not aware

and why is very similar to the reboot button?

reboot button works and the xml lines are

Code:
<menuitem priority="20" name="Reboot">
  <return>6</return>
  <po>osso-powerup-shutdown</po>
 </menuitem>
so is pretty the same command except for the "return" value; 6 for reboot and 7 for soft poweroff

btw still not found the way to exit that "hibernate" status...i have read on the net that somebody managed to exit that status with a double press of the power button but i tried and didn't work

btw it seems to be the same as an "airplane mode", with the difference of a led flashing, so i will remove that button if no other clues about what can be usefull for

Most likely it was commented out because it simply does not work.
