So n900 owners can watch BBC iplayer videos either through their browser (In low bandwidth, fullscreen mode) or by downloading the actual file and playing through media player.

It's good to be able to watch BBC shows on my n900 but sometimes I wish I could watch some of the other channels. Can someone find a way to enable us to watch things like 4oD, ITV, FIVE and MSN player video files on the n900?

Thanks

Not the same and no where near the choice or recentisity.

I know 4oD has a channel on Youtube but it's just as unplayable.

Since i've reflashed my n900, i can't install iplayer-dl anymore.

Anybody know why this is?

Code:
xterminal

sudo gainroot

apt-get install iplayer-dl

package not found

Best bet is watching these channels direct from Youtube.

It streams well, and hardly buffers at all. Good piece of entertainment for me when travelling on the train

No way of doing it as yet - needs Flash 10 or Silverlight. If you want it either find a way of getting one of them working or find a way of accessing the raw stream (a la iplayer-dl).

ITV player works, if a little choppy, just been watching the champs league, not sure if that uses a lower quality stream as its live, will have a fiddle and see what i find with the rest.
