Aha, I see all the .deb files saved there, thanks for the hint! I'll move them over to an archive folder elsewhere

iJanne, the N86 is the 3rd Edition S60 flagship, the N97 is for 5th Edition, and the N900 is the Maemo flagship at the moment, and Nokia's flagship OS is Maemo, so why wouldn't it be Nokia's flagship?

Because Nokia's flagship os is Symbian.

well i tried, det apt-get install command

seems like it can't because of some dependency called libqt4-gui. maybe i should just wait for official release.

it's getting dependencies for me as well. use

sudo gainroot
apt-get install offscr-solitaire

for example.

To clean up downloaded .deb files

cd /var/cache/apt/archives
ls
[you should see a bunch of .deb files, check they are the ones you installed, then...]
mv *.deb /home/user/MyDocs/.documents/

And then you can delete them manually from File Manager app.
I'd rather not say how to delete *.deb just in case anything goes wrong!

Edit: You can replace * with the filename if there are other .deb files in there that you don't want to move.

I have installed rootsh and used the command to install solitaire
root
apt-get install offscr-solitaire
and now going back to the original ovi website, trying to download backgammon touch, i get an error saying...

/var/tmp/LYuQnvJs.part could not be saved, because of an unknown error occured.

Try saving to different location.
how do i fix this? :/

apt-get clean

Doesn't that work and wouldn't it be a bit easier?
