My N9 broke down just last month and as I was waiting for parts I used my N900 again for a few weeks and it wasn't half bad, but the bugs man, the friggin bugs, but I still love the thing, that loyal dinosaur of a phone.

Using n900 one week every year. Love IT but is very depending of a fast browser and big screens. Would love to see n900 xxl
Its also my only working slider KBD phone so that makes it unique in my pack.

N900 is a fab old grey mare that still is what she used to be.
Use mine as a daily....It'll be hard setting it down when I get my neo.

Yes, the N900 is the best phone still. It allows you to do almost everything, even if it's at reduced speeds, on a smaller screen. Newer pohones let you do almost nothing in comparison, but you can do it at blazingly fast speeds, on a bigger screen.
And, 5 years later, some of the hardware in the N900 is still superior to most phones: 32GB + 128GB memory, great stereo speakers, integrated FM receiver AND transmitter, IR transmitter, awesome keyboard, a resistive screen superior to any capacitive screen in precision input (minus multitouch).
After 5 frickin years. What does that tell you about Apple & Co.?

I really did love my n900 but it had some serious hardware issues. My phone slowly fell apart & stopped charging lol
But Maemo was amazing. I would love to see it on a newer smartphone. i may just buy a n900 off of ebay just for fun.
