Soon my white body will arrive. Tools come with the body but reading here it might be the wrong ones. I better buy correct ones in town before replacing the body. Got both new body and new screen on the way. Only $45 for both from Ebay. Amazing!

Thanks for all the tips in here.

I got my new battery today but my T5 torx was too small and ruins screws.
Where I can get right one (TX5/T5 Plus?) in Finland?
Battery was 19€ so I dont want that tools to replace it cost more.

Torx is not the same as Torx Plus (sometimes referred to as IP)

Torx has a more rounded shape on the star pendents, which is why they slip and cause stripped heads in the Torx Plus screws used in the N9
very interesting, I always thought the only difference between the torx plus and torx was that the torx plus had the hole in the middle.

So what size torx plus does the N9 use?
I had seen T4 and T5, but what does that translate to in the IP or TR?

I broke one screw and had to cut the head off using a dremel. Luckily it was only one and there was no problem leaving the hole alone because it was the one just above the battery, and the others hold the frame really well.

So, DON't use the T4 Torx screwdriver that comes as a gift with some batteries sold in eBay.

I used a T5 from a higher quality set that I had lying around, and it worked like a charm.

Just remembered I had looked this up and its basically T4 is IP4 or TR4 and T5 is IP5 or TR5

so the numbers match up

when the nokia service manual says Torx + 4 it means IP4 or TR4

Wow, great info, but only if I had read this *before* using the tool that came with the case I bought on e-bay

Will look for a Dremel now
