With CallBlocker, you can have a "blacklist" of phone numbers that will be blocked. When people from those numbers try to call, they will always receive a "busy" tone (and/or redirect to voicemail, depending on your own standard setup).

You can download the .deb package from garage.maemo.org. I will probably push it to extras-devel in a few days.

The main limitation at the moment is that numbers need to be an exact match; for example, if you specify a local number (e.g. 012345) and then the network reports a call from that number but with international notation (e.g. +4412345), it will not be blocked. So when in doubt, use both notations. This will hopefully be fixed in a future release.

Note: the application requires python2.5-qt4-gui, which is currently available only in extras-testing.

Please log bugs and feature requests on the trackers linked from the project page on Garage.

Thanks to Vinu Thomas for the original script.

At the moment, it does not block withheld / unidentified calls. It's on the feature list for 1.1
I also plan to add a feature to block all calls except ones from people already in addressbook, probably for 1.2.

You gotta love open source phones... keep them coming. I'm beginning to feel sorry for my N95... It is going to be abandoned for good.
