Hi all!

My first Sailfish app, Taskulaji, is now available in Openrepos (https://openrepos.net/content/tmynttin/taskulaji).

Taskulaji is a client for laji.fi (Finnish Biodiversity Information Facility), with which you can make observations of nature, and send them to laji.fi database.

The source code can be found in https://github.com/tmynttin/harbour-taskulaji. Note: The source code links to the test API of FinBIF (apitest.laji.fi), while the actual app interacts with the actual API (api.laji.fi). Any help in development is appreciated.

Current main issues:
  • The map is not shown on Jolla 1(also crashes on map page sometimes)
  • No error messages shown if sending data to server fails
  • Login process is cumbersome (needs work by laji.fi themselves)
  • No unit tests

I'm running out of ideas with the first issue of the previous post.

The map shows fine on my Xperia X, but with Jolla 1 it does not. I'm using QtLocation with OSM plugin.

Source here: https://github.com/tmynttin/harbour-...ts/MapPage.qml

Any ideas? What could be the cause?

EDIT: Seems it was just missing dependencies.
