Please read application description carefully, as it states:
Warehouse is not yet compatible with SailfishOS version 2.1.4 or above.
Use Storeman as OpenRepos client application.
Use StoreMan.

Hi,

I seem to have a problem with storeman. I cannot update any programs with it. I noticed I have an old version (0.0.28) so I downloaded the latest one from the site. However I cannot delete the old storeman and install the latest version. When I press delete (in SFOS GUI), nothing happens.

Should I try some cli command to force the deletion? Is this going to mess up everything even further?

Thank you for all the help in advance!

PS: I don't know if this is the right thread for this, but I didn't find one for storeman...

You can post your questions at openrepos comment section below the app description, Petr will be glad to help you
https://openrepos.net/content/osetr/storeman

Meanwhile, execute as root
Code:
pkcon refresh
This should resolve your issue, and storeman will work as expected.

i'm guessing with storeman you install an application by using the pulley menu and selecting "Add repository".

But having installed storeman, and found the apps I want, if I use the pulley menu nothing is highlighted as selectable, and the two visible options are 'greyed-out':

"Add repository"
&
"Refreshing cache (checking for updates)"

The latter of which has been present for since installation of storeman (about 10 minutes now), with no indication that the situation will change.

Any advice?

someone posted a download link to the v0.0.21-2 rpm for storeman, which had problems.

but I can see on openrepos that v0.1.1-1 release was made available last month:
https://github.com/mentaljam/harbour...s/tag/v0.1.1-1

what I can't see is a handy download link for this on openrepos for the rmp, just the source files.

what am i not understanding about openrepos, as it seems obvious that nicely compiled rpm's should be readily available....?

contains packages up to 0.1.4-1 which is newer than v0.1.1-1 you are referring to.

It's up to application author to decide what and when to publish.
You can post your concern in the comment section and ask a question.
