I searched but could not find an answer. Occasionally when I put my phone on the charger instead of getting the charging notification and the led flashing orange it will flash dark green but still charge. Most times it works fine but other times this happens and I haven't noticed any change in battery performance either way. When it is done charging the light is a steady (brighter) green.

It's been doing it all day today. PR 1.3 did not fix this issue.

Can you run the following command in xterminal and show us the result?

Code:
grep PatternBatteryCharging /etc/mce/mce.ini

I have this also sometimes. Restarting MCE fixes it so it may be a bug ...

mce.ini is unchanged for me so that isnt the case.

first : don't put same name to different patterns . who choose between them ?
second : only last pattern battery charging have sense for N900 . the rest have syntax for N800 or are wrong. any N900 pattern must start with 9d80

I don't think he uses the same pattern name multiple times.
He just greped *all* occurences of PatternBatteryCharging. The mce.ini
contains more than one [LEDPattern...] sections.
