1. after installation, does hardware function normally? including WIFI, USB host, camera, touch-screen?
2. Can K-applications run without modification?

1) yes

2) um, well. depends on what you mean. You cant just go download KDE debs for ubuntu if thats what your asking. If you want an app thats not in the tarball, than you would need to have it compiled. Many apps work without issue, but some depending on what they do may need some code changed at compile time.

i will be very satisfied if i can install tar-balled K-apps. it will be amazing.

Ive noticed maemo apps seem to run a little faster in kde.

All of the official KDE apps, short only a couple are working. If it is not an official KDE package, but just a KDE app it would need to becompiled.

If you have naything speifi installed, list it out and we'll see what we can do.
