Two major applications that don't seem to be working on 2008 are the camera and FMradio apps. I'd imagine that both are coming soon (maybe with the official release) but I thought I'd mention it.

Also, the python runtime is missing a library.

This thing really needs GPE. I'm hoping someone with the expertise would port it soon.

Instead of reporting about apps that don't work, we should probably open a thread and list all the apps that do work including required repos and install procedures..

Python runtime work if u include maemo repository other than extra.

But libglade is if i understand well no more supported on chinook. Gtk.Glade biding are missing so many python app ll not work.

PyGTKEditor work as it doesn't use glade.
PyPackager don't.

Kismet is not working, I got all the lib and got it install.
But it did not see any network so I exited and tried going into "OffLine Mode" and Kismet would not even load ; re-enabed "Online Mode" but it could not see networks....

It worked great for me, for about 2 seconds

Online or Offline Mode didn't seem to matter
