With the Ubuntu and Maemo app installed I can look through both N900 cameras with my laptop via wifi now; but what useful thing can I do? For example Skype doesn't recognize the camera, am I missing something?

idk whats wrong with your ubuntu, but with windows, skype and any other chat programs, it detects the n900 camera as smartcam.

Skype doesn't recognize a smartcam for me to.

works great, sharp quality, but uhm, how to make it more bright? its kinda litle bit dark.
