I think Maemo 5 on one of these OQO devices would be simply awesome.
Shame about the price of the hardware though.

I remember lusting one these back in the day. But it was $2,000 when flagship devices were coming out for $499.

I sort of think it would be a waste of time/enthusiast job.

I'd also prefer seeing something new like SailOS on new hardware like Nexus 5. But thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Why limit yourself to Maemo, though? Those things ran on x86 CPUs, capable of running any proper desktop distro.
