By educating yourself. Either use the search function on this site, use the "new posts" list to browse through the active topics manually, or use google.

If you want to ask for help, where you really should try and put some effort into fixing your device yourself, at least give us some details as to what your device has installed and such. A description of the device / problem / what's been done to tackle the problem, etc.

i tried the search here, and of course google. still have no luck

last night, searching some stuffs. just to play mp4 files, hd videos..etc

i tried this, http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...ble+play+media

successfully on the step 1 and 2..
but stuck on step 3, i have no access on my desktop last night. so i can't extract "libgstdsp.zip", and i reboot my device. and then it is stuck on nokia logo, and restarting..but i can boot on my nitdroid

How about you change the title to [SOLVED] etc. provided the trouble was your rootspace, of course...

Do you have multiboot installed to start Nitdroid and Maemo?
Do you have kernel-power_V49 or V_50 installed?

Did you try to just flash the kernel of the firmware image. From time to time those experimental goodies may corrupt the kernel if things crash. Here is the part in the wiki http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_t...rt_topic.21.29

This might lead to a running device, then proceed the steps, you were trying. Else the device stays in an unusual state, where help might be difficult to give.

How about using unzip in terminal or simply filebox ?
