Currently we are working on a site to host the next competition.
This site will make it easier to submit code/screenshots/description and let the user vote.
Also we are in contact with Intel for a partnership (it looks really good).

Thanks for your patience and I'm sorry for the lack of information.
We plan to start the competition right after the mobile world congress.

Please don't hesitate to ask if the Community Council can be of any assistance.

Here you can check out the framework we made for the competition website.
It's not the website for the MeeGo competition just yet, but a competition we're running at our local MeeGo network, the mobile freidae.
Also you can check the source code of the framework, because it is open source.
Of course you could participate in the current mobile freidae contest, too, but there will be no prizes.

edit: fixed URL

this current site is a little bit rough, especially regarding the design (it's intended as the final test before the MeeGo Competition).
But as it is a framework, there is no problem to spice up the design for the MeeGo Competition.
Maybe you already guessed it?! We need a good designer....

The most have seen it already... but I want to write here, just in case someone is only interested in developing and the contest and not reading other threads.

Even if you are a good programmer... sometimes the problem is simply the lack of a good idea. I created a Thread to get some inspiration and ideas what kind of applications are missing at the N900.

Sadly not every post is full of impressive Ideas and I'm a little bit belied. But perhaps some Posts contains the small spark a developer needs to get a good idea what he could create.

Here is the Link: [SURVEY] What kind of Applications are you missing at the N900?

Hi zehjotkah!

Good to read that you're preparing the next competition. Could you give us a update about your progress?

Don't get me wrong. Personally I need some more time to get ready for the fun. But I'm still nosy.

After several month of reading in my personal Coding Competition Prize I began with the next Book:

I'm currently on page 417 (the next important chapter) and continuing reading to prepare myself for my next project.

Will you announce a new competition here in this old thread or where have we to look for?

Hi helex.

The new competition inclusive the (amazing) prizes we got until now will be announced next week.
Currently we're working on the last details.

Edit: it will be advertised all over the web. Unlikely you'll miss it!
