Well. After a couple more reboots it now has changed.
Now that doesn't seem to work on PR 1.2 - the N9 still shows up as rm696. I also tried changing /etc/hosts, but to no avail.
The command 'hostname' continues to return RM696 and trying to change the hostname using that command returns the error "hostname: sethostname: Operation not permitted" (doesn't matter if as user or root).
So what to do?
