Hello Experts,

I have deleted approximately 1600 files in different folders which were built up due to installation of different games like heroes and angry birds.

I deleted the folders using terminal as it was only seen through it only. Now all the directories are gone but the music and videos of those directories are still shown in the media player.

I tried to manually remove those files from the media player but it comes up again.

What to do with this? How to clean the mess in play lists?

Open x-terminal and type:
Code:
tracker-process -r
Will make the tracker rebuild the database. Your phone book and calendar should be safe.
