I just installed a deb file provided by a stupid man in themes forum.. Livil theme or something like that.. My themes are not opening.. Nothing Happen when I click Settings==> Themes... I restored original settings but of no use.. How can I format it?? Please HELP?

First off, many people on these forums use Livil's themes, and typically it's more constructive to go to the developer with any issues rather than calling the developer names.

Third, if you install experimental software that is NOT in extras, you had better be prepared for some heartache just in case.

Can anyone please tell me some easy way??? :-( I am very much tensed please........

craftyguy just told you how

You need to flash your device - the link is in his post - i did it earlier, took about 10 mins to prepare and flash, then a little while to re-install my apps
(Make sure you do a backup first, and you will be fine)

Did the application installed in the N900 by default..

Actually I waited for 1 min, while trying those steps.. Then I thought that flasher is not installed.. I tried diff flashers given in the said lnk but it says incompatible.. Please reply

Dear All..

I solved my problem by reinstalling the software.. And I excuse for my wording about that man. It was not due to the theme but due to Maemo 6 demo...Beware of it..
