FAT in Maemo is rwxrwxrwx by default, unless an error is encountered while mounting. This is not something your incident would have changed, it was like that to start with.

Okay pichlo, thank you, but EVERYTHING inside MYDOCS AND MEMCARD is rwxrwxrwx, I don't think that PNG images should have execute permissions

FAT does not support perms so you see all granted
But alt is UMSDOS

I was copying smth from MemoryCard to MyDocs using the builtin Fileman.
Then, when it started, it hung and I restarted the N900. Then, MyDocs became read-only, which fixed itself(I didn't touch anything) after connecting to PC.
But, Mydocs and Memcard and files in them became rwxrwxrwx permissions. It is not anything dangerous, but it annoys. Chmod doesn't work.
