5) Email notifications
With the removal of the side bar notification of email, etc is missing.
Temporary work-around:
To get notifications, put the home menu in the status bar, issue as root:
cp /usr/share/applications/hildon-navigator/switcher-menu.desktop /usr/share/applications/hildon-status-bar/
I tried this but I keep getting denied access. Does anyone know another way to get email and chat notifications?

Why not just sudo?
P.S. Right now I am preparing the package of Diablo v. 0.8.
It is not a VERY big improvement because Mitrandir stopped working with increasing quantity of statusbar applets. I hope it will be available to download in a few days.

BTW I just don't want to go so far from "Diablo" name of the OS. But Deteel sounds nice.
