I just tried out iPhone-like virtual keyboard !!

Great work ! Typing is way easier. You need install Python before installing it.

To bad it's just a demo now, and you can't really use it for anything else.
Some one should package it up, so it's usable

anyways get it here

Whats the advantage over the built in keyboard?

I find with the iPhone like keyboard, you make less mistakes therefore you type faster. Mainly because you can the letter you are typing. When you press the letter the letter pops up but doesn't commit until you let go of the letter.

Have a look at the youtube clip, and install it to try it out. It's a simple install and it won't replace the build in keyboard because right now it's just a demo so you can't use it to type in other applications other than the demo program.

But I find this keyboard TEN TIMES easier than the built in one.

Cool, I'm just trying to install now (after it restarted itself, I'm finding the browsers not liking me at the moment so a firmware update may be needed)

Until it can be fully integrated into the tablet - replacing the old keyboard, couldn't a 'copy text' button be made which could select all and then copy the text that has been typed out ready to be used on another page?

More screen real estate available for text. Nice visual feedback. Not done by Nokia.

In fact, if the word prediction algorithms are hooked into this, it might actually be a nice keyboard.

Being dependent only on Python I guess it works

Someone grab the code and package it to replace the built in keyboard!
And please add Cyrillic support for Bulgarian language.

This better not make its way into the firmware. The letters popping up like that keep making me think that I'm hitting the wrong key.
