Hi guys!

On my jolla and n900 there is a opportunity to switch wifi off or kill it. (wifi killer)

This to prefend wifi tracking by for example stores or shops.

I can't find any of such for the N9, do you guys know something about this? Is there a sollution or does anyone have an app which I don't know the existing off?

Thanks!

I do not fully get what you mean but possibly this will help you:
- under 'settings/internet conncection' you can disable wifi (but as well also gprs)
- you may set all your wifi connections to manually (disable 'use automatically')

Or if you do not mind the console (under devel-su):
- for disabling all internet
/sbin/stop xsession/icd2
- for disabling only wifi
/sbin/stop xsession/wlancond
To start those services use (obvious): /sbin/start xxx

Probably some WiFi on/off switch in Unrestricted system UI or simple switcher app would be great. I installed ToggleWlanScan app some time ago but not sure what is the purpose exactly.

Toggle for wifi off in unrestricted SystemUI? Really? What is its name in unrestricted system ui settings? I may be blind or using an old version, but can not find it. GPS toggle would be great too, of course :-).

Oops, sorry.
The one thing I do not have on my daily N9 is 'unrestricted systemui'.
So I do not know much about it, maybe ask coderus?
