I have the navicore application for my N800.

Does anybody know if it has already or will be ported to the OS2008?

I use it a lot, and I'm just about to move house to the country, and I have no clue about how to get from the new place to work yet!

Oh, and this is my 100th post. Break out the champers!

OS2008 has Wayfinder, which bought Navicore over the summer.

You need just to search in the page of the new OS.
This is what i could find:

"Internet Tablet OS 2008 includes an integrated Map application. You can use your old Navicore Personal 2007 license key to activate navigation features of the map application. After entering your license key, the activated Wayfinder Navigator application provides equivalent navigation features compared Navicore Personal 2007."

And note that Wayfinder/Navicore will be preinstalled on the N810. Therefore, yes it has been ported to OS2008.

This is great news! This must mean that Navicore users get the spoken directions too.

I feel like I'm on a circular train that visits different threads...

I don't know what that is supposed to mean either. Just another one of those random ambiguous comments by Texrat I guess. As Deltari posted, you will be able to use the license key for the Navicore OS2007 software for the Wayfinder/Navicore OS2008 software.
