I have been trying to get it to work for the past 8 hours. I tried search the forum, but I haven't found any solution, perhaps, I missed it. Anyway, I am running XP Home sp3, I check "Remote Desktop" as an exception under the windows firewall, and I also opened tcp 3389 and forwarded to my laptop in my router. I am doing this at home, so I entered my non-lan ipaddress for the "Host" field. I also entered my Username and Password of my XP Home. Everytime I try to connect, it says "Connection refused."

Anybody knows why??

XP Home doesn't have Remote Desktop server functionality by default.

Actually the article I posted originally won't help. Try VNC or Google the problem, there may be an unofficial way to get it working. From what I just read there are ways to do it, but they violate the EULA, so I won't post a link.
