As of this morning the code for the Yahoo weather widget no longer works, they have changed the page. If anyone feels like updating it please feel free.
I am considering creating an AccuWeather qbw script using Conky Weather but it will take time, which I do not have at the moment

That may be area dependent. It's still working for me for the most part. I'm getting the larger items, but the week-long forecast is missing text descriptions for some days.

Did you download the file on the N900? Did you edit it with an editor before hand? It sounds like either it's in the wrong spot, or you edited it with notepad or such in windows and it put linefeed pairs after all your lines.

Try downloading the file again on the device, and use an editor on the N900, not a windows editor. That's probably what's killing you.

Sorry bud. Not sure what's wrong with your setup, but clearly something is. The script is a direct copy off my device, where it's working just fine. The only thing you should need to change is in the very top of the script, to get your local weather instead of my local weather.

But out of the box, it should just run. You're on a N900 right? Not an N9. This is for N900.

Also, this assumes you're using my script. The one in the top post is quite old. You should be using the latest one, from this post.

I solved the problem. It turns out she was in the presence of the package "maenotify", he seems to conflict with these scripts. I deleted it and it worked. Thanks, I'll use it.
p.s.
After reinstall "maenotify" all work fine! I'm happy)))))))

Since Yahoo has changed it's page format in some areas, I've since updated the script to go elsewhere for weather. I found a nice local provider with a rather cute name, and easily parable pages.

If you screens stopped working too, may be worth a try. Enjoy.
