been a bit quiet on the "exciting developments" front round here lately hasn't it?

anyone notice 'kReader' app getting showcased at Barcelona? reads text via camera on phone, then reads it aloud. Surely going to be one of the whiz-bang features of "step 4"?

from there it can't be far off that it translates text-to-text and then speaks the translation surely?

An excellent software concept. If we work hard, we might be able to eliminate the need for literacy within the next decade.

Are you aware that such kReader is a mobile application developed by "Kurzweil - National Federation of the Blind"?

With such owner you can imagine what is the main use case for.

would not be the first time that fully functuoning humans find use for something made for those not so...
