In my N900, Opera 12 behaves almost like a snail sometimes.
Slugish and slow. "Framerate" is lower than 11.50 version.

using cssu thumb @ 600mhz

I can't confirm sluggishness. Snappy and responsive compared to v11 for me running cssu thumb @ 850. Can confirm select-copy issue.

I wasn't expecting an update, this is a really good news

I can confirm the issue about copying text and the opera vkb
No problem with the performances however, the scrolling on some sites which used to be very sluggish is now responsive and almost totally smooth, rendering is faster too

Did anybody FORCE you to install an unsupported, beta, version?

JFC. You guys keep asking for new versions of every-fu-cken-thing just for the sake of it ("we want updates!", "release early! release often!") and then complain when you get the latest "dump" of whatever program.

Just find a program/version that you can live with. And live with it.

For me its also like a downgrade.
- Feels slower
- Its harder to klick on links. Old version seemed more finger frienly
- vkb not working
- select copy not working.

Sorry about that. I have a bad week

It makes a lot of difference how one writes things (I have to learn that too .

Opera is the worst of his history
the slowest opera is now with us
That didn't sound (to me) like any sort of constructive feedback. Hence my rant.

I just ran twice into a serious issue:
I was browsing with several tabs (4, then 10) and I noticed the current tab was marked as loading in the tab selector even if it was fully loaded.
I switched to another tab then returned to the buggy one and it was displaying the other tab's content instead. I tried to close the buggy tab: it didn't work. Then I double-clicked it to switch to it fullscreen. It would still display the content of the other tab and worse: The button on the bottom-right corner didn't appear so my only choice was to close the browser.

On my N900 is faster, but I noticed the lack of vkb and the select --> copy non working.
A new version is great news I was like "woah! New Opera?" when I saw it was Opera after the yellow notification in the upper notification area.
