No, it is better to build uboot package in kernel-power source package.

Pali, after updating to your kernel and adding the multiboot entry in uboot (and booting successfully) the software manager gets me an update of "Linux Kernel for power user (boot image) 2.6.28-10power47".
Should I update it or ignore it? Will it break the boot in multiboot?

EDIT: Both of the installed packages are named the same. But the version I got installed is 2.41 mb while the version the updater shows me is 2.34 mb. Please help me decide wheter to update it or not.

I had it installed. But I updated the file to the less sized new one and it worked very well. Thanks again Pali.

Did anyone come across this? The kernel modules that report CPU temperature and current aren't really working here:



My phone is not running at 300 degrees celsius now lol

As reported earlier, this kernel has a different method of returning temperatures (more precise)
308° means 30.8°

And it's very nice to see more kernel improvements, thanks pali and everyone that get involved

after updating to this wireless-tools package have been removed for some reason. How can I get it back? It doesn't work through apt-get for some reason.....thank you

you can load the modules the same way you used to do it before...
