Wouldn't it be easier to just install a wifi router? Though if your school is anything like the ones I work at, it will probably just get shut down, and or confiscated.

get a pcmcia wifi card in your laptop. then set it up as a access point and share your internet connection that way.
I was wondering if i could connect the n770 to the internet via usb cable then share that connection via the inbuilt wifi to other devices i.e PS3?
My uni dorms internet connection is locked to my laptops mac address, and my craptop doesnt have a inbuilt wifi card.
Anyhelp would be great.
