Personlly I am so sick of the magnetcards and cash.

It really is time we replace magnetcard and cash with NFC in european.
YEAH! It's high time to replace those magnetic plastic cars! I say DOWN with cards and electronic transfers! Up with CASH! It's the SECURE way to pay!

(OFF TOPIC. This NFC payment stuff should be in the separate discussion thread.)

NFC have one problem working as a electronic wallet.

When you have no battery life left, you have no credit nor cash then. Maybe phones should have smart-card slot, where the actual credit/debit-card's chip is. If your phone is out of power, you can take the chip out and insert it to the credit card machine like before.

Won't work there where they sell stuff without electricity but you still can use credit cards.

NFC work in passive and active mode. There is no need for battery in passive mode. But if the place where they sell stuff has no electricity, you can still use cash. Besides, it has been years since I have used credit cards the old fashion way, at least in civilized places, it is all electronics or cash these days anyways.

Do you know if the NFC-chips they are going to integrate (or already have) to phones do work in passive mode also?

(Could some moderator please move these NFC-posts to a new thread?)
