As seen here: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Blogs...r-qt-28052012/

Cocos2D-x for Qt is a Qt port of the Cocos2d-x open-source C++ mobile 2D game framework, which is in turn a port from the original cocos2d-iphone project.

The project aims to implement a feature-complete version for Qt supporting Symbian devices and Meego. There is good documentation on the wiki, including a porting guide and a tutorial for the JumpingGame example. A short video of JumpingGame is shown below:

Another potential ingredient for the Code Competition?

Definitely! In fact I said the same thing earlier today in a post in the competition thread.. great minds think alike hehe

For example, I see Cocos2d-x is the featured Qt project of the week (Nokia Developer Team twitter feed). It would be awesome if somebody was to use it to create new games for the competition and bring those skills into the community.
I think Cocos2d-x could be a great tool for those of us who came from a J2ME background and enjoyed using the GameCanvas class. A good game framework is something I've always thought missing in Qt, so I'll be sure to check it out
