This is hilarious, Skype Integration as something new for Nokia??? More proof that Maemo is the forgotten child...

http://conversations.nokia.com/2009/...nokia-devices/

We've had this for over 1 year (probably longer, can't remember if earlier iterations had Skype Integration).

LOL.

Apart from the OP being 2 years late, which OTHER Nokia devices but N900 got Skype?

And why?

back in October 2010 I have used this Barcelona 2009 statement to complain on Skype and Nokia forums about the non existance of Skype integration in the N8. (read no Skype client whatsoever at launch)
What we learn is that those corporate guys are good in inventing PR but molding it into a long term strategy is something else. Somebody must have noticed the N900 proto and decided to make a press release around one of its experimental features

Next time I propose they hold this kind of meeting on a vacant BP oil platform.

Leaving aside the staleness of the news, over a year? Try over 3 instead. Maemo didn't begin with the N900 you know.

How sure are you of this?

I'm quite sure I've used Skype without incident.
