Depends if someone will go and file a bug on it. Currently I see lots of talk about the bug but no action to ensure it gets fixed.

Its great to see people so excited about MeeGo CE. Its most definitely worth the excitement as its closing the "usable on a daily basis" very rapidly.

However, it seems most of us won't have what it takes to achieve dualboot, so before its listed in the MeeGo CE Wiki, I think we should be content with running it off MicroSD's or our spare N900s. Dual boot is still a way away. Patience!

PLZ HELP!!!

CAN'T write the Meego CE raw file into SD card, I followed every step in http://wiki.meego.com/ARM/N900/GettingStarted, however, I got reply from dd command:

bash: of=/dev/sdc: Not a directory

jiajia@admin-laptop:~/Desktop$ sudo dd bs=4096 if=<n900.raw> of=/dev/sdc
bash: of=/dev/sdc: Not a directory
note: I'm sure the "/dev/sdc" is the correct sd card device name as I can umount it, and I connect my N900 to Ubuntu under "mass storage mode".

Thank you in advance.

Last step in Post#41 still says to overwrite backup1 with backup file 2? Is that right? Guess not...
#8. Optional - Multiboot - backup and replace Power47
mv /boot/zImage-2.6.28.10-power47 /boot/multiboot/vmlinuz-2.6.28.10-power47-bak
mv /boot/multiboot/vmlinuz-2.6.28.10-power47 /boot/multiboot/vmlinuz-2.6.28.10-power47-bak
mv /home/user/vmlinuz-2.6.28.10-power47 /boot/multiboot/vmlinuz-2.6.28.10-power47

So, zImage and vmlinuz both become vmlinuz-2.6.28.10-power47-bak...

Someone should correct this, if necessary

Greetz,

J4ZZ
