My Sony ericsson bluetooh doesn't seem to work too good with the N900 (disconnects, cuts off after 5mins of call use).

I want a Nokia one, but when I click into the Nokia store and select a bluetooh it only comes up with the very expensive BH-804

Is there a bluetooth headset that works with the N900 but doesn't cost the earth?

I have a Nokia BH-214 and am happy with it. You should also consider the BH-103. From a chat with a friend who also has an N900:

Me [12:29]:
You mentioned a stereo bluetooth headset at a decent price a couple of days back...
Him [12:30]:
yes, it's a BH-103

still very pleased with it - leave it on all day on standby, works well switching between calls music
‎‎Me [12:31]:
Cool.
‎‎Him [12:31]:
haven't really pushed the battery yet, but supposed to give 150hrs stdby, 6 hours music

I'd still pick the BH-214, as you can unplug the included earphones and hook plug the 214's little control pod onto your computer speakers or stereo. It's a nice way to listen to music.

FYI: BH-905 works really well with the N900. Only issue is that it seems that the bluetooth stack is quite buggy. The BT stream gets out of sync every now and then, so playing a tune can sometime result in either a tad fast or a tad slow.
Using it with the 5800 its has no issues... Sound quality that is.

All in all 905 is is a great pair of cans.

plus it makes for a nice remote for your N900 media player when you are using the FM transmitter in your car

What i really mean is a bluetooh headset for taking calls. Not for listening to music.

I have the BH-804, 904 AND 905. The 804 is a very beautifull and elegant solution, but the 905 is the real performer.

The 905 sounds very good, but not practical for everyday use.

BH-804 or 904 are verrry good.
