Hellow,

I've sucessfully downloaded and installed Maemo 5 final SDK. The virtual device works fine.

I've a little problem : I can't find the xterm application in the virtual device

Thanks for any answer

interesting.. how would I go about doing that without the external terminal, using only the xephyr window?

You do it from the terminal you ran /scratchbox/login in.

@alex that would be the external terminal I didn't want to use.

@Hogwash well, on the device you have neither. I guess you need the
chicken maker machine (app manager) and the right tools for it (extras repository perhaps?)

I think I have some issues with my sdk. the app manager doesn't seem work properly.

I think the device comes with xterm preinstalled.

I too have found the SDK app manager to be well whipped and buggered.

I install what I need from the scratchbox console with apt-get

Why doesn't apt-get have a "search" feature like yum? Suckage.
