Hi, I developed a GUI to make a Call and terminate it after some seconds, some of you may think this isn't useful but some of you may like it, so here it is..

It is now in the repositories!! Thanks for everyone!

Dropbox link:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9466029/Kall.tar

you have to extrack everything in
Code:
/home/user/Kall
then run the script
Code:
root
cd /home/user/Kall
chmod +x Kall-install.sh
./Kall-install.sh
You need python installed!!!

It was developed by Iktwo for Amanitina!
Thanks to Phonesfera! and Thanks to Maemo.org !!

Could you give us a example where this application would be useful? I can't figure out why I would like my call to be terminated after 40 seconds for example :/

There is a whole wiki page about uploading to extras.

Here in my country you can make a call to selected numbers
if call.lenght() < 5 min it's free, that's how you could use it, it's useful, maybe it's not for you.. but if you want to "control" the length of your calls this is for you..

I can think of multiple reasons:

1. Lets say I only want to speak to my mother in Namibia for 5 minutes maximum. I would use this App.

2. Knowing how my missus talks and talks and talks, this app would shut her up.

3. International calls that cost a fortune, this would be a useful tool to at least stop me from yapping on unecessarily and wasting money.

4. If you don't want to use up your credit on your mobile, one could pretend that your phone has a problem by cutting the call every 10 seconds, that way you get your mates to call you instead. ;-)

5. How long can one really deep breathe down the line? This is the ideal app for that!

:-)

Little Suggestion: Why not find a way to implement it in the default call application (a plug-in for example), instead of creating another app.
Anyway it's a good project and a good idea. I will test it.
