Found article on finnish site Digitoday, which some people here might find interesting. Apparently for the first time in Nokia's 145 year old history finns hold less than 50% of key positions in Nokia. To be exact 51,1% of executive positions hold non-finnish passport. Not that I'm complaining. Nokia is global business and it's only natural to tap into global talent. Also worth noting that late last year it was rumoured that Rick Simonsen is being groomed as OPK's replacement once he retires.

However only 13,8% of top nokians are women. That is somewhat embarassing for company hailing from a Nordic social-democracy, that prides itself on equality. Double embarassing when you consider that Leo Mechelin co-founded Nokia with Fredrik Idestam. Mr. Mechelin wasn't just a businessmann, but also a politician and one the leading europeans of his time to fight for rights of women and minorities. It was the goverment he headed as prime minister (1905-08) that was the first one on planet earth to grant equal voting and human rights to everyone, irrespective of their gender, creed or race. More grrrlll powa needed on top of Nokia (imho).
