I like very much the RDS widget on n900.

It sends informations to a RDS capable radio (e.g. SMS, Titel and interpreter of a song, phone number of a calling person.)

I would like to see more information:
email (title, adress, first characters of the message)
social services (like facebook)
System messages

(Other features: Radio starts automatically when there is a message and stops after half a minute.)


Is the source of the widget open?

Is there an easy way to send such informations depending on events?

I've found how to send messages with fmtx_client.

But I would like to link them with the messages of applications and the system.

If there were plugins for the "action manager" everything would be very confortable!
