So: first step to check would be /tmp/fmms.log (without rebooting after sending).

About best place I do not know, I am also maintainer of fmms (even I am just beginner, as no one else did) but I won't get any notifications.
So probably bugs.maemo.org AND note here?
Thanks, dude. I've found that sending via the utility works fine, but sending via the service does not. In the log the first is a successful send via the utility, and the second is an unsuccessful one via the service:

utility/service?
I do not see the difference in the log? Both messages seem to be sent fine and accepted by MMS service.

I got that impression from the log as well, but the recipient did not receive the image (just the text). I wonder perhaps if my provider doesn't like the non-jpg extension now for some reason and strips it out? ...that's the only difference I can see from the log.

service?!!
Now I see. I never ever used that functionality, despite of having heard such thing exists.

And tried it out. With a PNG, and it worked. Sent it to myself.
What kind of attachment did you try? Would you mind / try sending the same to yourself?
Most the probable the recipients device did not know how to handle, see some log from my action:

They were both photos taken on the phone itself, so jpegs. The MMSes appear in my sent list fine, but no images are being received for 3 recipients. Could be my MMS provider disliking the filenames, or could be theirs?

This you should ask your (or their) provider(s).

Sent this message to your self and show us the log. Maybe this reveals a bit more.
Best clean up log by
echo "" > /tmp/fmms.log
(or reboot)

While BMO certificate is not fixed, you can ( for FF) go to about:config and change "security.OCSP.enabled" to 0 when you want to open BMO. Don't forget to change it back to 1 when you're finished with BMO

The "about:config" method has the advantage that it also works in Microb

Changing options is a bit fiddly. I've found that the trick is the "swipe from beyond the left edge" gesture to switch the cursor mode, then double-tap on the value you want to update. That will bring up the change value dialog. Normal double-tap without the cursor mode switch would just readjust the screen size.

Question. I installed fMMS purely out of curiosity but never managed to get it to work. No big deal, as in the about 20 years I have owned and used about 20 different phones, dumb and smart, I have never ever felt the need to send or receive a single MMS. So I went as far as checking the connection settings but not as far as calling my provider's tech support.

Now my problem is that installing fMMS created a new entry, "MMS", in my "Internet Connections" and uninstalling fMMS did not remove it. Nor can I remove it manually in System -> Internet Connections. How do I get rid of it?
